Yasemin Elmas,
Director of Client Relations and Marketing

Yasemin Elmas was born and raised in Turkey. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the highly selective program at Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey, and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management & Development from Marmara University in Istanbul. Before coming to the United States, Ms. Elmas was actively involved with human rights and women rights organizations in Turkey, working on cutting edge issues such as domestic violence, forced marriages, dowries, and discrimination against women in the workplace and in family law.

Ms. Elmas has been an ardent advocate for the rights of immigrants in the United States. She has extensive experience with all types of temporary visas, as well as “Green Card” applications, and has worked with prominent immigration law firms in Los Angeles. Her compassionate demeanor and dedication to customer satisfaction constantly receive praise from clients. An immigrant herself, Ms. Elmas understands first-hand the difficulty of navigating through complex immigration laws, as well as the frustration and uncertainty inherent in the process. In addition to her professional experience, she has volunteered her time with various nonprofit organizations on immigration issues.

Due to her background, Ms. Elmas is committed to deepening the social and cultural connections between Turkey and the United States. Ms. Elmas co-founded and served on the boards of several nonprofit community organizations in both Turkey and Los Angeles.  She regularly contributes articles on immigration to different media, such as www.Mezunusa.com, www.turkla.com, and www.abd-ana.com. Her work on human rights issues in Turkey has been published by Women for Women's Human Rights.
